Saffron Tribal Bellydance www.facebook.com/saffron.tribalbellydance
Saffron ar a tribal belly dance troupe who specialise in improvised Tribal style Bellydance. Tribal style is a colourful and lively fusion of dance, with origins in the traditional gypsy dances of East India, the Middle East, North Africa and Flamenco. Our elaborate costumes are a blend of traditional items from these areas: flamenco inspired skirts, Indian cholis, pantaloons, wool tassels, bright earthy colours, traditional ethnic jewellery, embroidery, mirrors, coins and textiles. The music we dance to is predominantly live, Arabic and African drums, hurdy-gurdy, didgeridoo, flutes and Indian insturments or selected recorded pieces using these instruments.
We move by connecting and flowing, just as birds fly and change direction swiflty and in unison. There are fast exciting pieces, in which we we play finger cymbals known as 'zills', and in contrast, beatiful slow hypnotic pieces. We also offer spectacular sword and gypsy dancing, as well as use veils and fan veils within our performances. Dancers: Rebecca, Tricia, Tara and Zoe.

The Rising Lotus www.therisinglotus.org
In a world dominated by materialistic pursuits and personal gain, Debra Gibson & The Rising Lotus offer a very fresh alternative. Debra began songwriting after a desire to create music with depth and greater meaning. She has embraced music to reach out to others in order to inspire loving-kindness and compassion toward all, and often to probe the inner workings of the human mind.
With the awareness of the impact music can have on a listener, Debra strives to be mindful of the language and intent of all of her songs. “There is a lot of negative, anger-driven music out there, and I feel a need to counteract that with music which is nourishing for the heart and mind”, says Debra. “A single song has the capacity to incite hatred or to justify one’s bitterness, but it also has the capacity to lift one up and inspire greatness.

The Fine and Dandylions
Dan Richmond and Andy Mack are “The fine and Dandylions” sharing the stage and their love for music. Both songwriters in their own right they collaborate on each others tunes as well as a selection of timeless “heart songs” from around the globe. Dan’s powerful, bluesy soul voice and strong rhythmical guitar style, together with Andy’s intricate finger picking, melodic phrasing and softer singing style, create a dynamic, rich, colorful and emotive sound with wide appeal.
Andy Mack- Inspired by the healing and transformative power of music, Andy blends his own original folk/roots styles with devotional Hebrew, Indian mantras and Meso-American shamanic traditions.
Having played in the band scene for many years as front man for funk rock outfit “Kinetic Playground” and more recently drummer for “The Levitators” Andy’s musical direction has mellowed and become more conscious and “present”. Tapping into the energies of the “4D” world Andy sings and plays “Heart songs” full of love, light and celebration of nature and the human spirit.
Dan Richmond - Between being a vet and a father of four Dan has found time to indulge in his passion for music. He’s been writing songs for the past 13 years which draw strongly on personal experiences and range from soul and blues to folk and roots music. With an album in the pipeline he hopes to be making music for years to come.
